Your Advertising Partners Are Not Supplying Updated Product Feeds¶
The plugin works by talking to Commission Junction and asking them for a list of products from your advertisers that match the keywords you specified. Unfortunately not all advertisers keep their product feeds to Commission Junction updated.
If your advertising partner sells products and/or services through Commission Junction, we recommend you contact them directly and ask them to please provide an UPDATED data feed to Commission Junction. If the advertiser does not have programmers on staff to set up the data feed to Commission Junction, have them call us and we can arrange to program the data feeds for them.
We have found several vendors that do not bother to keep the product feeds current. In many cases they are not even aware the data feed has broken. Look up their contact info at Commission Junction, they usually have a person listed that is responsible for their affiliate program, and send them an email. Often the problem is fixed within a few days.
In the few cases where the vendor was non-responsive we were able to locate several competitors that were willing to do the work for us so that we could sell their products easily & effectively with the wpCJProductSearch plugin.
