Upgrading The Component¶

Joomla! v1.5¶

Joomla! v1.5 does not have a built-in upgrade system. To upgrade the Moola! Amazon Edition plugin you will need to uninstall the currently installed version, then re-install the new version.

Uninstall The Current Version¶

1) Go to Extensions : Install / Uninstall from the admin menu then click the components tab.

2) Select Moola Amazon Edtion and click the uninstall icon.

Install The New Version¶

3) Go to Extensions : Install / Uninstall from the admin menu then click the components tab.

4) Browse to the updated zip file package and then click upload file & install.

Install Your Keys¶

5) Go to Components : Moola Amazon Edition and click the parameters icon.

Joomla! v1.6¶

When enough Joomla! users upgrade to the 1.6 release we will update our plugin to use the Joomla! 1.6 upgrade system. More research & testing is needed before we make this change as we prefer our plugin remain compatible with as many Joomla! installations as possible.
