This is typically an issue in the data feed that the store provides to CJ. Have you tried a different store to see if the problem persists?

One way to check is to go to Commission Junction and search the advertiser's product feed there and see what comes up.

We've run into several cases where the data is wrong, out of date, or just plain obsolete.

Unfortunately some vendors are better than others at keeping those feeds updated.

Yes, this is likely the cause here. Vendor's products are hard to pull up at CJ using keyword searches and using the same keyword as at CJ doesn't load the same ones as at our site. Adding filters to our shortcode only makes for more duplicates. We contacted them to ask if they could help with duplicates from their end.
