Product Support¶

The commercial product support space is accessible for all visitors to our support site. If you are not yet logged in, you will only be able to read about our commercial products, you will not be able to submit issues or post in the forums.

The best way to get a response from our support and development team is to post in the forums. To post in the forums you must register first.

Getting Help¶

Free Support¶

Our primary means of support is via the forums. Please post any support inquiries in the forums. first. Our developers participate in the forums and other members of the community will often have similar questions or have solved the same issues you may be having.

Premium Support¶

If you need a faster response than is provided via the forums, premium support is available. Support rates are $200 per half-day and include email, phone, or web based support. Please contact us and include a detailed description of your problem as well as your admin login for your site. If you know it, please provide the FTP login as well. We will respond within 1 business day with a PayPal payment request for $100 as a down payment. $100 is billed as final payment upon completion of work. Most work is completed within 1 business day after receipt of payment.

Feature Requests¶

Custom additions and feature requests are quoted at $200 per half-day of work. Most features take between a half-day and two days to complete. If you have a feature you must have in one of our plugins please contact us and include a detailed description of the feature(s) you'd like to see. We'll respond with a quote, an estimated delivery date, and a PayPal payment request for a 50% down payment. Once we received the 50% down payment your work is scheduled. The final 50% payment is due upon completion of the work.

Consulting Contract Support¶

If you have contracted Cyber Sprocket to work on your project you will be given a private project space on this support site. If you have not been given your login name or do not have access to your project space please contact us.

Project Navigation¶

Each project you go to will have one or more of the following options listed in the top-of-page navigation bar. If you get lost click the Support link on the top of the screen to get back to this page.

• Overview - The basic summary for the project, usually showing latest news and most recent activity as well as the project description.

• Activity - The issues that people have been working on most recently.

• Roadmap - If your project has a roadmap you should check it out. It shows what is planned for each upcoming version. The default screen shows upcoming version and new features only. Click on the version number to see the details of ALL issues including bugs, features, support requests, etc. that are in that build. Check the "show all version" in the right sidebar to see prior release history.

• Issues - Reported issues from bugs to support requests to wish list items.

• New Issues - This is where you log bugs, features, or support requests. Don't ask questions here - email us. This is for logging actionable items only. Bugs and Features are tracked slightly differently so try to select the appropriate type of issue when filing a report.

• News - Messages from the project manager and development staff that are deemed "newsworthy".

• Wiki - A mini-web of articles that talk about the project, includes How To, Requirements, any special notes that need to be persistent and readily available to our users.

• Files - The actual software, or deliverable, for a project. This is the compiled code (or source depending on the project type) or other files that are part of the "what you paid for" package.
